Our Initiatives

Preserving his resting place as a lasting beacon of inspiration

A one-year memorial was held on May 10–11, 2025, featuring the unveiling of the headstone, a thanksgiving service, and the launch of the Bazawule Foundation. Attended by family, friends, and the Wasai community, the event blended reflection and celebration, with speeches and cultural dancing fostering unity, remembrance, and joy.

Educational Support Initiated

Five (5) Form Three students from the Wasai Basic and Junior Secondary School were awarded financial support as seed capital to enable their transition to Senior Secondary School and beyond. This support forms part of the Foundation’s broader commitment to investing in the educational futures of brilliant young learners from the community.

Community Development - Health Facility Support

The Foundation made a donation to the existing Community-based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) compound in Wasai. A range of essential medical equipment—including first aid kits, medical beds, wheelchairs, various walking aids —was donated to enhance the delivery of primary healthcare services to the community.

These inaugural interventions reflect the spirit and legacy of Lawyer Elvis Kuntulo Bazawule, whose life was dedicated to service, upliftment, and progress. The Foundation remains committed to building on these efforts in the months and years ahead.
